Steve L. Sewell 55, of Jamestown died Friday evening at his home. He worked for the US Postal Service in Indianapolis. He was retired as a Master Sgt after 26 years in AF. He was a 1959 grad of North Salem HS. He was born Oct 17, 1941 in Montgomery County to Russell Press Sewell and Louise McCormick Sewell. On December 30, 1961, he married Lee Myong Hui in Korea. Survivors include his wife, his mother, Louise Sewell of North Salem, Ind; two sons, Scott Sewell of Newport News Va and Christ Sewell of Blacksburg, Va; a sister, Sandra Sewell of North Salem, Ind; and five grandchildren. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Porter Funeral Home North Salem with Rev Russell Allanson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, North Salem. Friends may call 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
